(you will need to leave it in fridge to firm up while you prepare the rest)
if you don’t have a pipe you can just use a spoon and use the back of it to spread the frosting (in a circular way). Just make sure the vanilla cream filling is firm enough so they don’t mix up.
*Medjool dates are a kind of dates that’s super soft with a caramel-like texture, they blend easy and best kind for both frosting and base. If you can’t find it, just soak your dates in warm water so they become soft.
**When opening a vanilla pod, cut it lengthway in half then hold down the tip of the bean against the cutting board to carefully scrape out the seeds using the tip of a knife. Here’s a good video demo. Alternatively you can use 1 or 2 tsp of vanilla extract, but it wouldn’t give you the same flavour as the pod.
